No, I do not directly bill to insurance. I am an “out-of-network” provider.
However, in some instances I can provide a super bill for you to submit directly to your insurance provider. Reimbursement depends upon your insurance and type of plan.
Yes, I see clients both via telehealth and in-person.
Telehealth is available to CA residents only. Clients must be located in the state of CA during the duration of their session. I will confirm your exact location at the outset of the session for safety purposes.
In-person therapy is offered in two locations: Saratoga, CA in Santa Clara County and Scotts Valley, CA in Santa Cruz County.
Before our first session, I will send you some intake paperwork. This includes my consent form, a history form and other required notices.
On the day of your first session, we will review your intake paperwork together, including office policies such as scheduling and cancellation, consent and limits of confidentiality. The first several sessions we will review your history and what brings you to therapy now. I will get a better understanding of what your therapeutic needs are now and how I can support you or if I need to offer a referral. You will get a better feel for me as a therapist and decide if you want to continue. Beyond that we form our map (aka treatment plan) of your needs and goals, future and immediate and how I will support you to take the steps to get you there.
While AI is beginning to embed itself into the internet in many ways, I do not use AI tools in my practice. I prioritize privacy & integrity in my practice. I do not use AI, nor do I contract with any tech-backed , vc-funded therapy platforms.

Second, as you consider stepping into a new therapeutic relationship, there may be important parts of your experience to process or that you'd like me to know about. I am willing to support you in this process.

Call, text or fill out the contact form below to get in touch with me and I will get back to you shortly.
After you reach out, we will schedule a brief 15-minute, free phone consultation. This call is for you to give me a brief overview of 'why therapy now' and to get a feel for me over the phone. It also helps me to know if I am possibly a good option for you.
After our phone consultation and if you choose to proceed, I will send you the intake forms and we will schedule our first session.
